H&M x Lanvin

Denver has been teased for quite some time now with the possibility of H&M opening in our very own mile-high city.  Whether it's in Cherry Creek or Park Meadows, I believe that Denver is a city credible enough to house this fashion retailer.

This Fall 2010, Lanvin becomes the latest brand to collaborate with H&M.  Enough with the tease.  Come to Denver already...

Fashion Denver :: INTRIGUE Spring Fashion Market

This is the second time I've been a part of Brandi's fashion market; an event that brings together a community of talented, beautiful and creative individuals.  It's been my pleasure to be involved with such an event and most importantly, to be around such inspiring people like Brandi. 


It was also a pleasure to work with all the beautiful models as well as the talented Stevie, Tamara, Olivia, Stephanie and Katie, who helped make the fashion show portion fun, beautiful and a success.  Being around creative people makes me so happy.

The Spring Fashion Market was held at the grand Grant-Humphreys Mansion - a perfect location and setting to showcase designers and hold mini fashion shows.  If you missed this one, the Summer Fashion Market is just right around the corner.  I'll be sure to post the date and info once it's available.

Fashion Denver :: Holiday Fashion Market

So finally, a chance to sit down and spend some quality time for a much needed update.


In December, I was given the opportunity to be involved with Fashion Denver's Holiday Fashion Market.  Thanks to Brandi, aka Dreamer/Doer/Rockstar, she designated me as the Fashion Coordinator for the fashion show piece of the event.  She gave me a few racks full of beautiful creations by local designers and basically said, have at it!  And so I did...

It was a very much welcomed opportunity and undoubtedly, a pleasure to have been a part of.  Now on to some photos from the event...

Street Etiquette :: "Cookie" Boots

Once again, these boots from Ronnie Fieg in collaboration with Ralph Lauren in action.  Compliments of the Street Etiquette.  Love the leather jacket.  Love the zippers on the jacket.  Love the plaid button-up.  Love the hat, scarf and fingerless gloves combo.  In my opinion, this is a great look for that hip, urban guy.

People Watching :: Larimer Square

Inspiration is all around you.  Everywhere you look, you can find inspiration whether it's for a new outfit, design, recipe, painting, a story, a play... or just simply being inspired by someone's energy, positivity, creativity.  You have to keep your eyes open, be aware that it is around you and stop to appreciate it.  This is why I have chosen to make an effort to carry my camera everyday when I step out the door.  I want to capture these moments - the people, their sense of style, their mood, their stories.


This one will be a resident on my blog as far as style watch is considered.  This woman owns a very fashionable wardrobe and her sense of style is on point and in trend all the time.  I'd say for the most part, we have a very similar taste in fashion.  And this is why we are friends.  We have even bought similar items on separate occasions and wore them on the same day.  She's also the same size as I am from head to toe.  Another good reason why we're VERY good friends. :)

Just a couple of Wisconsin guys, looking effortlessly cool, if they do say so themselves.  Jeremy (if memory serves me right) with his aviators and a poorboy cap while his friend with a polka-dot print button up and brown leather jacket.

 

 

 

LOVE Alayna's (I probably spelled her name wrong) nautical French Riviera style.  I think the sheer polka-dot knee-high stockings completes her look.  Also diggin' her husband's style with the double-cuffed pants paired with classic loafers.
